Dustin Purdy is a passionate educator with over 17 years of experience teaching math in rural, urban, and online settings. As a former teacher in the NYC Department of Education, he has taught grades 6-12 and college-level courses. He is a NYS Certified 5-12 Math Teacher, well-versed in the CC and NextGen Learning Standards.

Currently, Dustin is the DEI Coordinator, Curriculum Coach, and Teacher at Dwight Global Online School, where he is committed to transforming mathematics education and fostering a growth mindset. As DEI Coordinator, he is passionate about ensuring that every student experiences a sense of belonging in an equitable and inclusive learning environment, where all can learn, grow, and thrive. In his journey as an Instructional Coach, Dustin's focus remains on building spaces where all students feel empowered.

Dustin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from SUNY Polytech University and a Master’s Degree in Adolescence Education: Mathematics 7-12 from SUNY Cortland, with a 5-6 extension.
